COVID-19 Information

We are excited to host World Pork Expo while taking appropriate precautions. World Pork Expo is an important event for an industry that is essential to our nation’s food security and the rural economy. It is an event where business gets done, worker training and development takes place, and innovative new practices are shared. We will remain vigilant in monitoring conditions and respond appropriately.  Please check back for additional updates as we near the show.

In an effort to mitigate the transmission of Covid-19, World Pork Expo will be implementing the following:

  • Informational Signage
  • Increased hand washing and sanitizing stations
  • Frequent cleaning of high touch areas
  • Social distancing in high traffic locations
  • WPX will have masks available at entrances to indoor buildings

As with the transmission of any communicable disease like a cold or the flu, we know you are aware that you may be exposed to COVID-19, also known as "Coronavirus", at any time or in any place. World Pork Expo is doing our best to maintain a healthy event environment, while continuing to conduct WPX business.

To help protect the health and safety of our attendees and our staff and you when attending the event, we ask individuals to make sure prior to coming to World Pork Expo that they do not fall into any of the following categories:

  • Currently or within the past fourteen days experienced any symptoms associated with COVID-19, which include fever, chills, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath and /or trouble breathing, persistent pain, pressure or tightness in chest, loss of taste or smell.
  • May have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 within the past fourteen days.
  • Diagnosed with COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious.
  • Adhere to government-issued travel restrictions and guidance issued by the region to which you will be traveling to and the region from which you are traveling.

If you fall into any of the above categories, we ask that you not attend World Pork Expo in person.
